Peter Sparke (1739)

Extracted from the Registry of the Archdeaconry Court of Exeter in the year of our Lord 1796.

In the name of God, Amen. Be it remembered this is the last Will and Testament of me Peter Sparke of Cleyhydon in the County of Devon, Yeoman, made this eleventh Day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty eight.

First I give and bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth Sparke the sum of Forty Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid her in three Months next after my decease by my Executors Hereinafter named.

I, John Long, of Newbury Township in York County and State of Pennsylvania being weak in body but of sound disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following:

Imprimis I do order that all my just debts and funeral charges be first paid by my executors as soon as may conveniently be done after my decease.
